Love Stoke 100 – Short Film Opportunity for School Leavers!

We’re looking for three creative and passionate students who’ve just completed their GCSEs to help create some short films which tell Stoke’s story this summer. If you love Stoke-on-Trent, its people, places or rich heritage, this is your chance to share that pride through film!
You’ll take part in a fun, hands-on film-making session at The Bank, Stoke, where you’ll learn skills to help you produce your own short film. Then, over the summer holidays, you’ll create a film that celebrates what inspires you about Stoke — whether that’s its history, culture, or community spirit.
Your finished films will be proudly hosted on our Love Stoke 100 YouTube channel for everyone to see, your film will be shown on the big screen at the end of 2025 and you could win prizes including a drone and theme park tickets.
We’re offering £150 for your work, plus valuable experience in film production and storytelling.
This exciting opportunity is made possible thanks to support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
If you’re interested, email lovestoke100@framescapeedu.co.uk and tell us a bit about yourself and what kind of film you’d like to make. Let’s celebrate Stoke together!
Please apply by August 1st.
